My name is Trish Simmers (Whanganui, Ngati Raukawa) from Shakey Art Studio in sunny Napier. I am a stained glass Artist of 40 years experience. Recently I have found a way to make my art portable by using mediums such as violins, guitars and framed panels designed to hang on the wall. My husband Steve (retired builder) also carves NZ Pounamu and incorporate pieces into our very unique art. This is backlit with LED Lights to showcase the stunning colour of glass and greenstone.

WORKSHOP/CLASSES  - THE STAINED GLASS EXPERIENCE

We are also holding workshop/classes for beginners guide to stained glass using the copperfoil technique here in "The Loft".  No experience needed. Shoes required. All materials/tools supplied.   Small classes of maximum 4 students.  Approximately 5hours (9-2pm) $150. Tea and coffee available. Studio open Tuesday to Sunday.
